A story of great relatability on many levels, Love in a Small Town touches on taboo subjects—step-parenting, death of a parent, teenage angst, peer pressure, starting over in a ‘foreign land’, finding love again after the death of a spouse, raising a teenage girl alone, drugs, sex—which in today’s society is now the ‘norm’. Zeller did her research and also wrote from living in that area. You could see it playing out like a movie before your eyes. Well done and highly recommended!
