Wonderful narrative
By Carnac767
I’m a native of St. Simons Island, so this is a subject near and dear to me. The author has done a terrific job capturing the heart and soul of this wonderful place through the recollections of the people who live there. Most visitors to the island are instantly captivated by its charm and easy-going lifestyle. There’s a magical appeal and the narratives of the author’s sources capture this essence. A must read for anyone interested in stories from the Old South.

A Visit to the Past
By Linda L
I loved going back to a past time in the history of St. Simon’s Island. As a newlywed Navy wife, I found myself living on that Island. I enjoyed learning the history then and now. It’s a timeless place that everyone should experience……….it’s as if it’s “my island”. Thanks to the author for taking me back.

St. Simons fan

As a frequent visitor to Saint Simons and a resident of the area mentioned in the Dodge family and Forsyth murder, I enjoyed reading these narratives. For those familiar to St. Simons, the references to areas, streets and landmarks will especially interesting. History lovers will love it as well.
