Loiacono Literary Agency takes on Ed Protzel’s The Antiquities Dealer, a story of deception and intrigue.

 Jerusalem

When Miriam Solomon, the love of David Greenberg’s life, phones him at his antiquities gallery in St. Louis, the black hole at the center of his heart shudders. Twenty years earlier, Miriam had inexplicably run off to Israel with his best friend, Solly, a brilliant but nerdy young scientist. Now she tells David that Solly has committed suicide and she needs his aid on a secret research project Solly left unfinished: to acquire the one remaining nail from the crucifixion of Jesus. Is she telling the truth? And why does that nail have such significance?

Everyone has their own agenda…each with its own mortal consequences.

Ed Protzel is the author of The Lies That Bind (2015), Honor Among Outcasts (2017), and Something in Madness (2018) published by TouchPoint Press. He has written five original screenplays for feature film and worked developing film scripts/projects for 20th Century Fox. Johnnie Bernhard, Chapter D, Biloxi/Ocean Springs, Mississippi, has written A Good Girl, a historical fiction exploring the complexities of family relationships.

In this moving novel, Gracey Reiter faces her father’s approaching death and accepts her crippling legacy, crossing a long-denied line of pain as she reads her Grandmother Walsh’s hand-written accounts from the 1840s in the family Bible.

The chaotic gene pool of the Walsh-Mueller family began when Patricia Walsh fled the famine of 19th-Century Ireland with her parents and siblings, only to lose them to disease and starvation. She finds a home, love, and security with Emil Mueller in a German settlement on the Texas Gulf Coast. Their happiness quickly dissolves into harsh reality as wars, hurricanes, infidelity, and alcoholism find them, and the five generations carrying their name.

A Good Girl penetrates the core being of all who read it, pulling back the skin to reveal the raw actualities of life, love, and relationships, told with candor and honesty. Published by Texas Review Press, Spring 2017, it will be available online and in all book stores. For more information, please view the author’s web site, www.johnniebernhardauthor.com. …that it is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.

This is what LLA has done from its conception and will continue to do. An author’s success is our success. It is about being the “Jonathan” to their “David.”
On this day of your life
Jeanie, I believe God wants you to know…

…that it is literally true that you can succeed best and
quickest by helping others to succeed.
Napoleon Hill said that, and he was right. Nothing
ensures success like ensuring another’s success. And
there is someone who is looking for your help and
your support today.
Lift that person up, give that person credit, do whatever
you can to help that person be a success. And always
remember: What goes around, comes around.
Love, your Friend …
